1. Jensen wants Cas to know, Dean care about him

Not just “ya, I care”. But more of a I care so much. That’s why he picked the biggest gift

2. It was a classic Dean move

Even Dean will ever want to give Cas a gift, he won’t just give it. He’ll just leave it somewhere Cas will notice and then he’ll be like “ya, you can have it, if you want”

3. Beautiful coincidence. Just like Destiel

There could have been million things in that box. But two big fucking FLOWERS. Nobody saw that coming. Not Misha or Jensen. It was a beautiful coincident. Pretty much like Destiel. At first the writers or the actors didn’t do it intentionally. It just happened.
